PUT YOUR AD IN THE RIGHT FORUM

From now on if you have been here longer than a few posts we will be assuming you have read the rules.

This means you know to put your ad in the right forum.

Some clarification on what goes where:

Non-4x4 related stuff such as cars and 2wd vehicles MUST be put in the For Sale Ads - Other Stuff forum. If not, it will be cheerfully deleted.

Tires and rims go in Used Tires - For Sale.

Vehicles go in their brand specific forum along with wanted ads for brand specific vehicles or parts. If your brand of vehicle does not have a forum then post it in here. If your vehicle has a different motor than the brand or different running gear, it does not matter. It goes in whatever forum it's reg'ed as or resembles.

What counts as 4x4-related? Here are some examples:

• 4x4 vehicles.
• Parts off of 4x4 vehicles.
• Winches.
• Truck tires.
• Truck accessories such as fender flares, side steps, etc.
• Engines that could likely be used in a 4x4. So a Chevy 350 out of a Camaro would be fine, but a rotary out of an RX-7 would not.
• Off-road trailers or car trailers...but NOT tent trailers or utility trailers.
• Automotive and metal working tools. Impact wrenches, drill presses and socket sets are fine. Table saws and routers are NOT.

This board is not here to be used as your own private webstore. If you are engaged in a business (it doesn't matter if you have a shop or are working out of your basement), your ad does not belong here. I recommend the Buy and Sell. Any ad that looks like a business will be deleted.

Again, if you are not a newbie to this board your post will now be deleted instead of moved.

I still expect truck tires to go in the tire section.

If I see a thread with an extremely poor description (especially a vehicle), I'm shutting it down. At least post a price, phone #, email, pics, description or pics - better yet, all.
