Question E-brake cables\housings

The e-brake cables on my p-finder are broken\worn. Since none of the parts suppliers stock these cables I bit the bullet and went out to Morrey Nissan. Three hundred dollars plus with tax!!! Any cheaper alternatives besides the wrecker? Any info. would be greatly appreciated since cashflow is not a strong point with me right now.

You can go to most any Auto-Parts store and buy a repair kit for them, it's basically just a new cable and ends, but if your looking to replace the whole system including the e-brake clutches or shims what ever they're called located inside the rear assembly then you might want to try the aftermarket dealers such as: http://www.bakerprecision.com/brakekit.htm

Hope there's something here to help ya??

Thanks Chris, I guess this is another case of asking for the right thing exactly at the parts stores. I'll check the kit's out.
