Hi all,
I'm new to the Nissan group. I just purchased a 1997 Pathfinder (haven't picked it up yet) and would like to put a modest lift on it. I have a set of 32" Muds from my old truck that I would like to put on, but initial queries indicate that this may not be possible. I have been told that this truck has a unibody design and as such I will not be able to do a body lift on it. I have also been informed that the max lift that I can purchase is a 2" coil lift that will enable me to fit 31" tires. Does anyone know if there is anything else I can do to get my 32's on it? Will I need new struts and shocks? Are all Pathfinders of this age unibody? How can I check? Any info or suggestions are appreciated. Eddie4x4 ![]()

96 and up pathfinders are all unibody and more difficult and expensive to lift than the earlier ones. As far as I know, the 2" lift is all that's available.
If you really want to get the 32" on, you could always cut out the fenders.... ![]() Check out: http://www.nissanoffroad.net Last edited by Bill; July 11th, 2003 at 04:17 pm. |

31's BFG M/T's will fit stock -no lift with hardly any rubbing or none at all -depending on what you do. Depending on brand, other tires should also fit with a little or no rubbing. 32's you will need the 2" lift unless you do what Ace said.
