Re: The Evil (ution) 2.0

I played with suspension a bit to ensure that more front end tube work has enough clearance for 42s... They will fit but they will rub on the link before they actually will touch any of the tubework... That's OK I guess...
It looks like 39s may be a smarter chooice, though.

Anyways. Time for some money shots:

Here is full droop:

Conversly, full stuff at ride height:

This is about 6.5 inches of uptravel with the rest of the truck at ride hight:

Front end flex (mind you there is still another one inch of shock left but the driver's side rotor's already hit the floor) I'd say there is another 1.5 inches of wheel travel there. The Other side has about 10 inches under the tire:

An underbelly shot:

Re: The Evil (ution) 2.0

Speaking of tube work

Here is some details of replacing the masking tape with steel. I tell you! It takes a lot less time to stick tape on than notching the tubing so it fits like that:

Here you can see how three pieces of tube intersect at the top of the fender. The A pilar piece will not hit that spot but it will be less than one inch behind on top. I don't think it will matter much...

Here one can clearly see that a center diamond (as marked by DMC earlier with tape) is needed to close the structure off:

Another shot:

And with the hood closed it still looks nice and tame:

Although, this may be the last pic with it looking mellow-ish...
