You probably won't remember me, but I remember you from when I used to hang out on Sunday afternoons at the r/c track that used to be beside the bmx track in mac park about 25 years ago. You were the only one that was encouraged by your dad to go out and get a local sponsor for your r/c car, and there you were with your McDonalds red and yellow bug bodied car ripping around the track. There were a few grown men there bashing you behind your back about that, but I thought it was cool. They were all just jealous because they had to fix their broken junk with their own money. You weren't even old enough to get a job there, so you got some money for free! I'll always remember that.

Wow, that was a long time ago!! I have pics of that somewhere! I was only like 9 or 10 when they raced at Mac Park track. Those adults didn't make fun of me a few years after that when I was winning all the ROAR nationals around BC!! Did you race a car in the RC club?

No, I was about 12 or so and my dad didn't have the same passion for motorized sports like I did/do so I basically just hung around and watched and got a little jealous of you and your dad having such a great common interest. Pity part over.
