    Transfer Case Parking Brake

i want to put a Transfer Case Mounted Disc Parking Brake onto my truck and i saw that allprooffroad.com had ones for sale but they are only for the 4 cylinder toyotas... anyone know of someone that has a kit for the V6 engines? or what do i have to get to do it without a kit? thanks for all the help..

t case ebrakes either work great, or really poorly, depends on how everything is set up..

ive never seen one that works as well or better than oem brakes

You're kidding right? I adjusted mine as tight as possible and propped up on a rock and it still wouldn't hold it. I drop in my t-case e-brake and presto, all 4 tires locked. I can be up on a 45 and it holds no problem.

Unless, of course, you are talking about e-brakes vs regular braking system, nothing beats hydro...

Granted, neither the t-case brake or the oem e-brakes stay tight for very long, you always got to adjust them every now and then... I like to squirt in a shot of brake clean in the t-case brake to get out any grime too, helps out a lot.

BTW, I'm running Sky's too, it's a really nice set up.

when i phoned about the v6 driveshaft ebrake they told me it didn't exist when i told them it was on their web site they told me it was a mistake and would remove it

i went with a 4cylinder tcase and sky's ebrake kit and its way better than the crappy stock setup
