Greg Bowie ( G&S cruisers ) had those little Solar converters for sale a while back, not sure if he's still selling them or not.
By all accounts they are a good little unit, tho I didn't have the best of luck with mine...( bear in mind, I never have luck with gadgets)
after a couple years of it's being installed, I had my batteries go flat , and checking the fuses in the converter found the fuse pretty much welded into the circuit board.
So, I'm back to switching batteries from side to side every month or so.
Or at least remembering to throw the charger on the lowside battery every now and again.
cheers,
ryan

Greg B's units are not inverters...but they are actually battery load balancers with the additional feature of being able to provide clean 12V from a 24V source up to 20A. The unit is small, weatherproof, and rarely heats up much. I've had mine in my Cruiser for well over a year with not much change in my battery voltages. Anyway, I think you mean a "converter" and not an "inverter", right?
Check them out at www.gscruiserparts.com.
We've had some really good discussions on this subject in the International Tech Forum at www.ih8mud.com, and here's one particular link of what I have done with my Solar Converter install:

...and for installing 12V radios into a 24V vehicle:

You're welcome. The Solar Converter is great because of the load balancing feature...that keeps your 24v battery bank happy on a daily basis and allows you to pull momentary large loads from your low-side battery as discussed in the MUD forum.
But if you need a simple 24v-12v step down converter, a good friend of mine is one of the owners of ICT Power in Langley, and they make several models that will suit your needs from 2.5A to 40A. Their website seems to be down right now, but you can go to www.ict-power.com to check for local retailers.
