Just wondering if anyone knows of a web site that shows the boundaries of crown land in the interior?

Try Online Cadstre, has legal descriptions available in some layers.

Or some regional district sites have very good mapping in the Valley bottoms The maps tend to come in pdf (Adobe Acrobat format). They are usually right up to date.

Central Kootenays

Surveyed lots, of course may or may not be private. If you are looking at specific lots then a search of ownership can be done at BC Online (for a fee, this being the government and all).
The vast majority of unsurveyed land in the interior is crown, other than the odd licence of occupation for cabins and lodges.

The old 1:50,000 federal maps had surveyed lots on.

Hope this helps, if there is a specific lot/place you are wondering the regional districts should be able to help you.

The best advice if you are looking for wheeling places is get at least half an hour of the pavement and clear of towns and you'll likely be on Crown land.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you have any questions.
