I'm gonna attempt 39.5's with 5-6" of lift or less. Wish me luck.
you can do it with trimming. good luck without!
i ran 36x14.5x15 pitbulls on a ~5" lift with front bumper trimmed and rubbing radius arm. good luck with 39.5 :P

Here's my Ranger just after I bought it

Put a 4" Rough Country lift in after getting stuck at stave on street tires

Swapped out the leafs for the F150's and did the shackles with the bed off (frickin rusty ass bolts)

It was on 33" BFG muds with maybe 5% life that all would go flat every second day

And how it sits now - on 35" Dunlops
    1989 Ranger Custom
    Custom 7" lift
    Explorer/Corvette D35/36 hybrid, Warn hubs, 5.13 gears
    Exploder 8.8 rear w/Spartan locker, 5.13 gears
35" Dunlop Muds on 15x10 Steelies
476,000km on stock engine, trans, and case!
