Question How to get another inch ????

I am thinking of trying to get some 31" tires on my Nissan (2000 Frontier Crew Cab,daily driver. The Jeep is just my toy)

Is there any way to squeeze another inch or so ....

I have heard of some guys tweaking the torsion bars, but would this not just limit downward travel? And if you do end up tweaking the torsion bars what do you do for the back end, could you just add a leaf?

Never used them but you can pick up an item called ulift I think from Canadian tire. They are spacers that go in your springs to give you between 1 and 3 inches of lift. I looked into them as a cheap lift kit, but my pathfinder doesn't have springs in the front.
    03 Rubicon, 4" lift, a few scratches.
