I know Eagle Mtn has snow near the top. Sylvester has snow around I am going to guess at around the 20km mark. West Harrison I haven't been past 20 Mile bay but there was snow at Lost Lake.
You really need to gauge the snow reports based on elevation right now.
550 meters up, just past the 22 km mark, there's some logging equipment on a branch line that forks off the main FSR, muddy road, lots of snow up there, I got lost up there with the other blue Rubi. Great views too. It's about 1 km past the white feller buncher excavator parked near another branch line and the main FSR.
Last Saturday was 4-wheel required to get to Mystery Creek exit. Don't know whats happening since, but i'm guessing lots more was accumulated and now melted a bit and heavy wet and slippery. MY guess at least. Don't think 2 wheel is a good idea.
theirs still about a foot a snow half way up eagle mt ,as of yesterday ,well could be more at the top only mae it half way then it got really hard and we where running out of time had to get back to school for class lol
Bump. (March 22)
How high altitude now for snow?
I'm actually NOT looking for deep snow on the road, but a bit of snow on the edges that the kids can play in.
Easy access is good.
Sylvester, or Hawkins-Pickle would be my most likely spot.
I found snow way up Sylvester on Thursday at around 550m in elevation. Not a lot, an inch or 2 on the ground. But most of the day of exploring/hunting was right around freezing with the wind.
There was a foot of snow at the top of chipmunk creek service rd at the parking lot where it turns to hiking trail brought the one ton tow rig up there breaking trail about 1km be4 it
Lots of snow above the 500 meter elevation in Boston Bar.
