    My Expo unit

1990 Toyota Land Cruiser 80 series, VX LTD package. 4.2 litre turbo diesel, automagic tranny, factory electric locking differentials front, rear, and a center diff lock for the "full time" four wheel drive. Weighs close to 3 ton and gets 22 mpg
The VX ltd's came with a center console fridge and ice maker that runs off the a/c system. Yes, I said ice maker The fridge holds 12 cans of your favourite beverage, and there is a little ice compartment to make about 3 cubes at a time. Mine is missing the trays and door for that unfortunatly.
It also has a factory "Action Adventure" package, which consists of curtains for the rear hatch and side windows. This package, as I understand it, allowed dealers to install various types of camping kits, which included raised sleeping platforms, a single burner gas stove, and a sink. Apparently they got a deal on insurance by having this option in Japan.
So mine has a tubular steel raised platform in the back storage area, with 4 fabric covered pads that velcro down on it for a sleeping platform. There was a gas stove and a sink, along with a small table as well, but I took those out and use my regular camping gear instead. You have to fold the back seats down to lay all the pads on. It sleeps 2 adults fairly comfortably, 2 adults and 2 kids uncomfortably.
I recently acquired a new ARB fridge which will be going in the back as well, this will reduce the sleeping area in half.
A trailer of some kind, with a RTT is in the future plans.

Can that tent fold up with the sleeping bags and pillows in it, or do you have to empty it before closing?

Thanks. My buddy, Dave, has one but I couldn't recall his answer when I asked him that question.
