It's a smoke grenade carrier. Makes a good launcher of navel oranges using dry ice in 1 litre pop bottles with a lil warm water as a charge.

Mine came from there years ago but he's pretty tough to pry anything from but who knows. Try Ebay.com, not the canuck Ebay.ca but the U.S. site. Sometimes you can get someone to sell one to you but the red tape is getting ridiculous being that these things are ex-military but one can try. Get on 'Steel Soldiers.com' (shameless plug, sorry) and read up on them. They can be found and this one's the best K body Chev I've ever had!

As far as expedition vehicles go, to stay with this thread, the M1010 ambulance would be a killer set-up. Dana 60/14 bolt with locker, 5/4 ton with diesel heater, A.C. twin 200 amp generators 12/24 volt. and you can go from the cab to the back through a sliding door. Usually lower miles too from what I've seen.
There is a guy a couple blocks down from me has a truck almost identical to yours, but not quite in as good shape. I see him driving it all the time. I always wondered about it and now I know

Here is a link to my build , which I am still building .

mater of fact I spent 8 hours helping in a cabinet shop today . I am sooo fed up with the mess in my shop that I decided that having a work bench with drawers would help my project get done faster . 34 drawers should be a good start . that and I have taken to truckloads of old parts to the recycler .
Lots to look at here . Hope to join some of you on an adventure one of these summers.http://www.powerwagonadvertiser.com/...ead.php?t=5521

Maybe a tarp depending on how comfortable you are with your fishing buddies

haha, yeah, we used to have a foltable shower curtain that would wedge into place on the front bumper. It had a tarp/curtain to wrap around, but I must admit, before that it really helped us dudes 'bond' in ways we thought never possible... Pass the soap!

Yeah, the bypass valve is really a must. We didnt have one and you would have to be careful not to rev too high, or run it too long or it would be scalding hot. Since it was mostly used durring winter camping, you just raise the head and it would cool it enough before it hit you.

Do you have any recommendations for heat exchangers and where to find a suitable one?

Had a look at your M135 last week. If you want to get rid of it let me know.
