    November 22-08 @ Harrison West

I haven't been out wheeling in three months, so this trip felt "oh-so-good".

Took my Ford gang out to meet up with Brian and his Jeep gang camping at Hale Creek. We met them at the Sasquatch, then again at the hatchery. Sonny tagged along with us as we did Secret Lake, while the others did the Weaver/Francis Traverse. We met up at the Hale Creek beach later in the day. The weather sucked, but it is that time of the year. Didn't take a lot of pics, but I know the others did.

As usual, my full write-up is here.

    Airing down at the hatchery:

    Heading up to Secret Lake:

    Waiting for Tracie:

    Tracie:

    Sonny on the way down:

    Mike's turn:

    Indir's turn:

Playing at the beach at Hale Creek:

A stock Cherokee without scuba gear:

I tried to get us to Look-Out Lake, took a wrong turn, Sonny was daydreaming and got this:

We lost our motivation, so Sonny taped up his new vent hole and we made our way for home:

I had a great day. Was good to meet the old faces and the new ones.

Feel free to add your pics here.

You too Sonny and Tracie. Indir don't do forums, so I'll post his when I can get my hands on them.

Re: November 22-08 @ Harrison West

i was! apparently i failed to see the 4" trunk hiding behind what i thought was just brush that would ride over the roof as it usually does. you can see on chris' 3rd to last pic...i didnt want to hug the cliff side too much, so i figured it'll just brush right over... yes that wins the 1D10T award of the year..yay.

otherwise it was a great day out. good to meet some new people..too bad we didnt get todays weather..but at least it didnt pour all day long!

    It is called Secret Lake.

I have also heard it called Cruiser or Cruizer Lake, but I think that would be like me calling it Bronco Lake.
