I believe PA sells a forklift disc/cable/caliper setup that you can incorporate into a driveshaft brake setup. Caddy brakes don't hold very well.

'91 TBI 350 from a 2500 cargo van. It was used as a yard vehicle so mileage is super low. Complete, TBI>pan, exhaust>exhaust, fan>flexplate. Sitting on a stand at my buddy's shop in Langley.
