I didn't have a signal most of the way, but I was able to search the route from home and then I guess it just stores it on the phone.

When we went to the Skookumchuck hot springs, I actually used my Samsung phone's navigation and map program that it came with. I put in skookumchuck hot springs and it gave me the option of the route...

Re: Sport Track, are they any good?

All I could find for suspension was superlift. RCD used to make a coil over conversion kit which would be nice, but it's not available anymore. Disc or drum on the back, I couldn't care less. But in...

I'm going to chime in on the cheap, and even the not so cheap, next step up Canadian Tire multimeter. 10 years as a heavy duty mechanic and I do a lot of work on boats as well. It's nice to have...

Sport Track, are they any good?

I've built up some tough Toyota trucks over the years, but finding something in good enough shape to build into a trail machine is getting harder than ever. I've seen some cheap Ford Sport Tracks on...

    Re: Front springs

I thought the Fabtech 0-2.5" springs were the bomb. Later on the Fabtech shocks wore out and I fit the springs on to the Bilstein.

Good question on the mog, it might fall into the commercial vehicle category due to the weight, but if not, you would still be required to have your bumper height within 750mm. There's no exception...

My work truck in Alberta has 7500 kms on it but 1200 hours. AVG speed is 6.25 km/h, but in the mine site I drive between 50-70 km/h and when I go to get parts I'm doing 100. It's a good truck so far,...

  26. Re: Best bang for the buck OBD2 scan tool?

  27. Re: Best bang for the buck OBD2 scan tool?

You don't need a scanner, you need a multi-meter. Back probe the TPS wires with that gauge in place and read the reference voltage.
  28. Re: Best bang for the buck OBD2 scan tool?

From what I could find, no, not in voltage. It shows it as a percent from 0 to 100.

  30. Re: Best bang for the buck OBD2 scan tool?

Re: what winch to get best bang for buck
