I used to own a S-10 blazer with the 2-put-8. I was looking into swaps and if it's the same bolt pattern as the chevy 2.8, I was told that with a few minor changes to the front of the motor, that a 3.1 liter bolts right up. I had tbi and was also told that all my intake and stuff would swap over. Don't quote me on this that's just what I was told. I wised up though and turfed it for a grand and bought my YJ.

NAXJA is the place to ask you question - after you've searched the tech section.

Not too many people take on this task, so I'm sure that if you do a basic search, and then pose a few more questions beyond what's covered in the old posts, they won't jump too hard on a newb.

I believe the 3.1 chevy V6 from a front wheel drive to be the same bellhousing bolt pattern as your 2.8 , this is a common swap , so there should be a web site on this out there so where Best CJ-Jim:welder
