1989 jeep yj guage problems

hey guys

i gots a problem!

so when i just bought the yj like 2 weeks ago the gas guage didn't work wouldn't even read. and then as time went on..... the batterie and clock and gas guage doesn't work now then only thing that does is the temp. now that i took the dash apart to see if the wires were lose or sumthing..... it turns out that they weren't lose or anything. so i don't know what to do.
any sugestions would help lots thanks!

Try cleaning the connections and using some dilectric grease to keep them from corroding.

yeah i just tryed to sand down the brass conections today but after i was done and hooked it up now the temp. and oil works but nothing ealse. you know how much a whole new guage cluster would be from the dealership???

and what other years would fit a 89 yj? like 89+ or what?
