My friend's 91 auto Pathfinder just clunked itself into immobility. The transmission is likely the culprit. Does anyone know if this is a common ailment to these trucks? If it is, is there anything that can be done to strengthen them or improve their reliability? We're planning to turn the truck into a more serious 4x4, but this is definitely disheartening. Left him stranded right in the left turn lane at Lougheed and Gaglardi!
