Hello everyone. I just recently purchased a 92 xe-v6 and i cannot get 400km on a tank of gas. The tank is 65 litres(pretty sure). Was wondering what you guys get for mileage on your v6s. If its always this bad im going to have to sell it and get a 4runner.thanks

According to www.fueleconomy.gov, a Pathfinder gets about 15mpg in the city.

I've got a buddy that just got a '95 Pathy and his mileage is brutal too, sounds similar to yours.

Well buddy Mine's a 90 with a 75 litre tank and I can get like 420 km on the freeway. And over 300 on the way up to school where there's a 2km huge hill.

geeeez! i thought that i was getting bad milage! my 95 pathfinder has got a 60 liter tank and i get roughly 420-450 per tank. I just recently replaced all six injectors, fuel filter, cleaned my air filter, replaced my catylitic converter, as well as my o2 sensor and the truck runs like it is brand new. Good luck with yours!

i usually get from 350-400 kms per tank. 4runners arent that much better from what I've heard. If you want good fuel economy, an early 90's SUV is definately not a wise choice

I have a 95 XE-V6 and get about 17 mpg in the city and about 22 mpg on the hwy (just over 400 k/tank). I have 31x10.5 tires on. :soso

I used to have a 1990 Pathfinder with the V6 and barely got 350-400 per tank full. The truck ran very smoothly, but the mileage didn't change much whether I was in the city or driving on the freeway. I had New Pacific Nissan check it out a couple of times and they said it was running great. The worst thing about it was that I used an F150 with the Triton V8 for a couple of weeks and that truck got the exact same mileage as my Pathfinder and it had way more power.

Before my exhaust manifolds started falling off, and after switched to all synthetic fluids (oil, tranny, diffs), I was getting about 430 around town.

Sadly, my 95 has fallen victim to the exhaust manifold issue, and now the whole system is out of whack and running really rich - I get about 380-390 per tank now around town.

I'm running BFG AT/TA KO's, 31x10.5's, standard tranny.
