What year is my truck?

I bought a "1995" Nissan off a guy, registration says 1995, but on the inside of the door where the data is, it says the truck was built in July 1994.

My mechanic says it is a 1994.

So, what year is that truck then, a 1994 or 1995?

Depending on when Nissan's cut off date is before a vehicle becomes a product of the following year but most companies its the 8th or 9th (aug-sept) when it becomes a '95 so my money would be that its a 94.... i thought my corolla was an 86... turned out it was an 87 all along
