opened the cap today after my weekend runs, found some ugly white foam just skimming the surface and i know i havent put in stop leak or anything like that. is this air mixing with the coolant from a headgasket or what? i dont have a leakdown tester but will do if thats the right way to go. I dont see bubbles come out when the fluid is under the throat of the fill neck but when its full to the top of the neck there are bubbles that come out, fairly large but they dont seem consistent with engine rpms.... help?

Bubbles indicate a head gasket. White foam can sometimes be oil in your coolant, cracked block or head, head gasket? Check that there is no white foam in the oil.
