Panhard Bars?

I am going to be performing a shackle flip in the back of my 78 bronco. I have already yanked the sway bars out, and I am concerned about the rear end wandering laterally. I will be doing the shackle flip and adding 2" blocks.

Would a panhard bar prevent this side to side motion, with out causing the suspension to bind?

sort of.

I had two blocks stacked in the back of my ford and never noticed any lateral instability.

Axle wrap is another story though.
