Just wondering if the hi output (performance) oil pumps are worth the extra money? See them advertised quite abit.

I would stick with the stock toyota pump, after market crap like that is only good for american made auto's.

A pump that puts out to much pressure can wash the bearings, leading to early failure.
Stick with the stock pumps for reliability.

My thought is there just and easy way to get oil pressure on a dying motor with shot bearings
so i'd stay away from them the serve no real perpose
the oe replacements are perfect

I had thought about putting the hi volume pump in. Thought it might make sence , since I will also be doing the cam and exhaust (header).
Was hoping for a higher RPM range in the powerband.
