Arent the bushings plastic or similiar?
Is there a reason as to why they arent made out of metal?
Canadian Tire has the idler arm with a lifetime warranty. I just cant find my damn receipt.

How much did you pay at Can. Tire?
I was quoted $160 and change at the local (and only) parts place. For that kinda money I can throw the $4 bushings in for the next 40 years whether it needs it or not.. http://www.bc4x4.com/ubb/smilies/cwm41.gif

$160 sounds about what I paid. Atleast it has grease nipples on it. That musta added a whole $2 to the cost . heh, heh.
Stupid things is they don`t ask for the old idler arm back, so all I do is take the ratched one in, get a new one and put it on. Take the one I just took off back and get another. That way I always have a spare.
Or atleast did until my son cleaned out the truck and lost the receipt.
