We had a 65 scout come in for some drive terrain work took out the stock power plant and drive terrain and added some new gear for a little more power and a fresh new look.
started off with a 4.3, 4l60e, d300 and a few little goodies in the mix, some a.a headers, complete wiring harness, alum griffen rad, fully rebuilt trans and t-case, and a complete exhust system.
so as it came in very nice and clean for the year..

making room for exhust manifold stock engine bay is fairly off centered so we had to modify the firewall a little.

Nice clean scout and good job did the firewall get in the way of the skinny pedal at all?

Yes it did...you can see the firewall cutout in the third picture. That is right where the pedal was. A pedal from a 2000 S10 was put in place. Not as much legroom, but my legs are short so it isn't too bad...but foot cramps up after a while. The wife has long legs and can' t drive it at all....

pretty easy to make the seat adjustable between you and your wife might just need to bring the seat back inch or 2 or different sliders. steve and i drove it and were 6-1"----6-4" :)

Maybe I will have to get you to take a look at it, the seats are already adjustable and are all the way back from what I can tell.
