it came out of a 96 dodge diesel, and im not too sure what t case but i know the 205 bolts to it

for those interested, that means it was bolted up to an np241, and the ouput shaft is a higher spline than that of the gas motors, so it will only work with the diesel transfer case as far as np241s are concerned

I know dodge np205s had different spline counts for auto and standard

Dodge diesel NV4500 has 29 spline output . NP205s do not bolt up without some fiddling and the only one that might fit is one from a 89 - 93 Dodge diesel . Most other Dodges had 23 splines . Chev 32 spline and 20 something , Ford 31 spline

actually advanced adapters makes a kit that includes everything to bolt these up in any vehicle for only like $400, so u dont need to do any fiddling around
