I have a 14 bolt axle from a 93 light 3/4 ton . It is a 6 bolt wheel and has 3:42 gears. It is open and has brake lines attached but the ebrake cable is cut . 75 bucks

It will fit but the spring pad width is different so the factory pads will need to be cut off and new ones welded on at the correct width and angle.

Shock mounts might be different, but honestly I'm not too sure about that.

E-brake cable doesn't matter because the one on your K5 should be retained and used in the new rear dif.

A conversion U-joint might be needed as well.

This rear end is a great upgrade for anyone who's still running a 10-bolt.

I originally paid 150 for it . I needed 373 gears . I counted the pinion teeth and it was 14. 373 x 14 was a whole number (41 i think ) and decided it was a 373 and bought it . I got it home drained the oil ,counted the ring gear and damn it worked out to be a 342 sooo ... here it sits. ( I did find a 373 with a posi and it was the best thing that I ever did to the truck. Just for brakes alone , so much better. Anyways its here if you want to take a look.

will 15" rims fit over the drums on a 14 bolt?

Yup!

I've run 15s on the last 2 14BSf that I've had.

15" Steel rock crawlers also fit over the stock calipers of the Ifs trucks. Just to let ya know!

oh right on,
yea I had to grind my front calipers a little bit to run my 15's.. just the corners rubbed a bit

That would depend on backspacing. I didn't need to grind any with 3 3/4" BS
