I got out to the Crowsnest Pass for a few days of wheeling and camping with some friends and I thought I'd share a few photos.
We were heading out Lille which is a well-known ghost town in behind Frank but along the way we swung by the fan house at Maple Leaf mines and drove up the to the spine of the Livingstone range before heading into Lille and finally hitting a little mud on the way out. Enjoy the pics.:beer

On the way down we stopped at the Maple Leaf mines fan house

The entrances to the shafts were blasted shut, but you could still feel the cool stinky air blowing out on your legs

After checking out the sights on the Livingstone we headed into Lille. Heres the Bernard coke ovens.

The entire coke ovens were pre-fabbed in Belgium and the numbers on each brick made for easy re-assembly at Lille.
