lordco has been pretty harsh with the returns lately.. no one seems to have a straight answer as to what their policies are or arn't. My suggestion is, if you want to return it (unused of course), go to the Maple Ridge store, they seem to be the most informed as to what the policies really are. Maybe because they are the closest to head office?

the policy is......no returns without original invoice....no returns on electrical(switches, pcms etc.)....no returns on indivdual tools(sockets, wrenches etc.).....and of course,no returns if its been installed......if you bought an optima, and never installed it,and you had your original invoice, then you could return it.....

Why is it that I get stories like "No returns if there's no box" and "no returns past 30..wait..45..no wait..30 days"?..

Then I go to a different store and no problem..Oh, and i've returned TONS of electrial stuff, UNUSED but electrical nevertheless.

It's not like I go and return everything I buy but I mean when I do I don't expect to get the same runaround I go through to get the right part in the first place.

Because you are talking to somebody that doesn't have a clue.

This person has a clue. :laugh

Oh, and i've returned TONS of electrial stuff, UNUSED but electrical nevertheless.
Then you were lucky. Look on the lower part of your invoice. ;)

Welcome to the modern day, and it's not just Lordco. I get so frustrated dealing with mfg's about issue's; talk to three people and get three different answers. Customer service is hard to find these days. And as mentioned thousands of times before about buying parts, find somebody that knows what they are doing, and latch on to them.

This was a dude (no box guy) who i'd seen a million times helping other partsmen at the Maple ridge lordco.. one of the senior guys I would assume.

This person has a clue. :laugh

..or a human brain in his head

Oh I am well aware of the return policy on the sheet..it's funny actually, that's probably the only one i've never had issues with.. It also says they reserve the right to charge a restocking fee..If I was buddy returning my two year old part (heh), instead of saying "it's past 3...45..30 days" I would have said "the restocking fee is 10%" or whatever.. but no.
