The speed and distance traveled don't jive, and he landed in a 2' tall wading pool?!? And didn't blow right through it?!? I don't buy it.

Im with Chris on this one.. At that speed he would have went right through the side of it.. Look at the angle at which he approaches the pool??

Yeah...jury's still out...
You can see him moving while in the air right up to the splash, otherwise they could have subbed in a dummy at the bottom of that first downhill bit.

I think it would be obvious if the landing were a separate shot because it's an uncut sequence.


That said, I don't know how you'd do the 'test runs' before filming as the pool platform appears to big to move around...

Still, it just doesn't LOOK credible...

The real reason for this post is a heads up:
if you google the guy's name, be careful. One of the links(about #6-8 down at the moment) is to some sort of self-installing malware that Comodo and Firefox both missed.

When I first saw it I thought that crazy frucker till he hit the pool. But its totally fake, the entering angle of the pool for one... and the hill slope is so bumpy and uneven it would have thrown him right or course no matter how many dummy runs there was.
Well done though...

I think it's fake too for the same reasons already mentioned and also and most importantly, 2 gallons of water being tossed out a bucket is not enough to get him to go that fast. He would not have made the end of the ramp, in my opinion.

If any of you have made a back yard water slide, you will agree.
