View Full Version : Pics of the boat under some cosmetic changes

So I have been spending some time the last few weekends out on a buddies boat and I got to thinking why not take my own boat out. I have owned it for three years and I have only used it like 5 times. So I started converting it into a pirate boat.

I may paint over the blue with black but I want to paint a sharks mouth from the bottom of the bow up. I also want to paint two big round white eyes with red eyeballs on the area that is blue now. It will get a pirate flag for the bow of the boat and two more red skull and cross bones...one on each side of the boat near the stern.

Here is what I did yesterday...and one pic of me out on the boat today, this morning.

You should do the rivets(painted) like in Heavy's P40 warhawk build.

I tell you what rob. I will supply the paint and you can come over and paint each of the 300 or so rivets...:D

You need to rig up a mast and some cannon port holes. Maybe get a poster of Orlando Bloom for the sail...

Sweet....sounds like a rivet party!
You supply the beer of course....maybe we should get a stencil or something tho cause it may not end as good as we envision without one.

Looks good. But you should loose the umbrella.....makes it look more like a "Pride Ship" than a "Pirate Ship". :laugh

:agree:....use some sunblock and you are well under the gaydar.

not going to paint the rivets. The umbrella was used while I was painting in the 33 degree weather we had. I just got the motor serviced and hope to take for a voyage again this weekend. The mech said it is one of the best early 70's johnson 4 horse motors he has ever seen. Good to know.

Going to google pirate ships to get some idears.
