So while i am finishing up my 86 gmc high sierra build i am driving a little 1990 mazda b2200, which i am actually really liking driving (mostly cuz i get double or maybe even triple the mileage then i did when i had my big blazer)
Anyway my problem is when i shift gears. At low speed and low rpm it shifts fine, and when it's warm it shifts fine. The problem is at high speed, high rpm, and while it is cold that is is difficult to shift up or down. I dunno if it is the clutch or the syncros (never worked on a standard before, i have rebuilt an automatic tho (th350))
So what should i look for or change??? i don't wanna spend $150 bucks on a new clutch only to find out mine is still good. It feels good but like i said i have never worked on one, or drivin a truck that i knew the clutch was bad on so i have nothing to compare the feeling to.
Oh and i changed to fluid too didn't help any but it was pretty black, not really any noticable metal shavings that i could see.
