I suspect there will be some new faces this trip, or in time, from the interest at the Outdoor Sportsman Show last weekend. If I can get my wife to deal with my Daughter's ball practice, I'll be there.

I too would love to come out and play. But we're off to Tulameen again to go play in the back country!

Was camping down @ Hale last Sat/Sun. No snow at all at the lake. Sat weather was awesome, very little snow overnight. Sunday was sunny most of the morn-aft.
Saw 3 quads on Sat and 1 Cherokee on Sun.

Still some snow on the trails going down to Hale , not much to worry about.

Sunrise - v rock still has snow but was pretty easy going.

Hey Rob!

Did you follow up on your bumper?

bobby b

Not my bumper anymore, more like ICBC's bumper now.(They bought me a new one after all).
Cop has not called me with any updates. As far as I am concerned it is behind me.

Thieves suck :cwm23::cwm23:

Thanks though Jordy.

I am sure there would still be snow at Lookout. Still alot of snow to play in, in that area, esp. on higher ground.

Have fun everyone. I am picking up a new tire on Sat morn. If I get it together early enough on Sat I may still try and catch up with the group.

Ch4 CB?

yes CB Ch4 and yes Lookout might even be unreachable if a lot of purely stock trucks join us. If i recall it's around 600m elevation, and given that two weeks ago weaver with it's 300m had over 2feet of snow still, i'd say yes, there's probably quite enough white stuff up there :D

hasn't been warm enough to melt it too much, and we've had snow falls since then ... should be interesting.

I'm hoping to make the run. Running a near-stocker Mazda B4000, 3" sus. lift, 265 75/16 rubber.

The truck won't get dirty, right? :)

Tim...not afraid of a bit of mud 'n dirt, not even a little bit.....

what KIND of rubber? Hopefully you have All-Terrains or better. Generally people with all season tires tend to have trouble, and it would be especially slow going with the snow that is out there right now.

Looking forward to seeing the mazda in action :)

I have Hercules bias ply tires. Don't know much about them but they did just fine going up Eagle Ridge. Made it to the lake, but we didn't try the look-out. When we had all the snow down, I made it down some side streets other bigger, meaner trucks couldn't come close to. However, I still don't know what prompted the BMW 5-series to think he could follow me down the back alley. :) :) :)

GF just informed me she got some blood work back and the doc wants to see her ASAP. So tomorrow I'm going to have to go to the doc with her. Hope it's nothing too bad (and no, there is no baby en-route).

So, seems I'll miss the trail run. Kinda sucks. Was hoping to get out. *sigh*

Tim...hoping for a quick in-out at the doc, and then maybe a run up Vedder Mtn.

PS: Still planning on fishing on Sunday. Interested?

Gonna be busy on sunday workin on the bumper.... but how late is the doc?? You could join us half way through the day :) I've done it before, it's pretty easy to find the group as there's only a bout a half dozen places they could be on a regular basis :D

No idea on the doc time. She doesn't have an appointment so it's a drop-in and pray kinda thing.

I have spent the last couple hours coughing a lung out. GF is gone now to Safeway to get me some Buckleys. I plan on killing 1/2 a bottle and getting to bed. Don't think I'll be wheeling tomorrow. I can't take a day off work to recover so it looks like this weekend is the weekend to do it.

As for Sunday, just found out the launch is still frozen over, so missing fishing is bearable. :)

Have fun.

Tim...really has to make one of these runs so he knows where the heck Hale Creek is.......

just a heads up to Steve that i won't be bringing my chainsaw this time. Not sure if we'll need it, but it's nice to have one just in case....

See ya in the AM!

So? How were the trails? Snow bad?

I am sick of this cough. My effin chest feels like someone grabbed my rib cage and pulled it off my body.

*sigh* I hate being sick.

Tim...professional cold whiner.
