Showing my age here but I remember that movie (second pic), it was all I could do to not write "Lazaro" across the hood of my '77 F250. Lots of cool off roading and truck building combined with a dark "carma is a bitch" sub plot. Worth a rent if you can find it.

Couldn't find it on the IMDb: http://www.imdb.com/find?s=tt&q=%22Lazaro%22+. What's the full name?

Showing my age as well here but that 1st pic was a Warn ad from the mid-70's. I think that it was part of the start of my life long interest in 4wheeling. Anyone know the truth behind it? It was long before photoshop was invented.

The movie featured two trucks, "Lazaro" and "Scorcerer", the movie title came from the second truck.

That first pic made me poop my pants. If that was my vehicle and I actually made it that far (never happen) I would be walking from there and kissing my truck goodbye.

That pic did look familiar. Had a look around the Warn site but the history info does not include their advertising campaigns. Even if it was just heliicoptetred in, the story of the photo shoot would be worth hearing. I remember a road something like that on the Island that my great uncle took me across to the west coast in a Jeep just like that one. Even if it is solid granite, I hate being on the edge.

I remember that Jeep pic as well. IMO it's a fake. A damned good one, but a fake. But it certainly grabbed my attention when I first saw it, so it was definitely a good advertising photo!

Yeah it is a good one. I believe that the Vancouver (or is it actually in North Bby?)Gemini store has the original poster on the wall. That's where I first saw that pic, some years ago :-)
