Hmm not sure about aftermarket ones, but the truck/car dealer parts departments should have them.

I bought a little kit from KMS Tools a while back that used a pop rivet type gun and nutserts. A stronger solution will be the ones they use to attach cabinets inside cargo vans. It's like a nutsert but you use a special tool which holds the insert in place while you crank the bolt into it to collapse it and stakes it in place. Take the bolt out and the insert stays in place. Don't know if that makes sense.................

I've gotten them from FASTENALL before. The guy at the counter had no clue what I was talking about, but I made him open a cataloge (it wasn't on his computer screen,so he was going to quit)and we were able to find them and order them up no problem.

I have a big bag full of them , I don't think they're brass or stainless, but they're a gold brass color

but I don't have the tool to compress them anymore so they're pretty useless

ok sorry everyone. I should be more clear! I have the tool, I have a bag of 100 1/4 nuts, I have the zuki ,and the fender flairs. but I can not find STAINLESS or BRASS mirror nuts because the alum. ones corrode and fall out. once again I'm looking for BRASS or STAINLESS mirror nuts.
