So I haven't washed my truck ....Ima guessing since may of this year. After the last trip up west harrison my truck was godamn dirty. A few friends were already on my case for not keeping my truck clean...whatever....( i used to wash her twice a week since she was new off the lot up until 1 year ago):laugh

I go to work this morning (my weekend job) work all day, get back to the yard at 2:30pm and can't believe my eyes. Somebody friggen washed it.:laugh

Before it was washed....was it really that bad??

It looks pretty clean to me.. Mind you, I wash mine quite frequently though - about whenever it rains :redneck LR

Why wash it and take all the paint protector off?

That pick was taken after I got back from whipsaw but it was actually just as dirty. I didn't have a pic after Harrison so I used that one.

:laugh I pressure washed mine this weekend and while presure washing the rear driver side wheel well, I discovered a huge hole at the top of the wheel well which is hidden by the carpet...sudenly I realized there all the water that ended up in my carpet came from there and not the canopy like I thought. I made a quick fix and it worked pretty good too

I didn't want to do any welding, but after spotting this hole in a crucial spot, it turns out I will have to do a little welding after all

I hope your going to cut the excess off those bolts walter. One day your going to to reach under there and forget about them and give yourself an awkward reminder. :beer_cheers:

Here's a shot in the dark, but, if you washed your stuff - maybe it won't rust out.

Take care of your ride, then you won't be holding up the rest of us on the trial (or in traffic)

I thought about cutting them down, but then realized that my tire will never flex up to it and if I do zip cut them, then I will end up with a sharp edge that can definately cut me open. I think it will be just fine.

The best is when the old guy at the shop washes your 1 year old truck to be a nice guy and he drags the wand down the side of it leaving a large scratch and all the spots that he missed so ya gotta go wash it yourself anyway.
