****SOLD ON EBAY - TRUCK IS GONE *****
Howdy,
I'm trying to sell my truck and I'm not sure what it's worth. Just finished the lift.
It's a 1992 (newer style that ran from 92-97) Ford F150 XL 4x4 Super Cab with a long box.

The engine is the basic 5.0L v8 with the 5-speed tranny. Manual locking hubs up front.

The engine was factory rebuilt (still has the decals and number on it) about 80,000 Kms ago. The body has 320,000. Runs and drives great.

The beauty of this truck is that it falls under the old GVW 5001 rule, so it does NOT require Aircare at all. That means you could run whatever exhaust or motor in it you want.

The lift is a brand new 6-inch suspension lift, and I've put on some Eagle 058 rims (15x10) wrapped in some BFG 35 x 12.5 rubber.

Even if you're not intersted in it, let me know what you think it's worth, as I've had lots of interest in it, but no buyer yet. I'm definitely willing to drop the price.

I'll take $5,500 for it at the moment.

Thank you kindly!

Bump!

Ok, I guess from the underwhelming response, I'm asking too much.
How about $5,000? Is that a reasonable price to ask for my truck?
Please see the links in the original post for some pics.

Feel free to post opinions as to what you think it's worth. It won't be considered an offer or anything - I'm just looking to find out what I should be asking.

Thanks.

Due to the underwhelming response, I've decided to put the truck up on EBAY with NO RESERVE! It's gonna sell! If you're interested, or know someone who might be, let them know and bid early!

I don't think it's that easy anymore. 5 years ago, all you had to do is tell the Autoplan agent to change it and they would do it, as long as it was a full-size truck. It was a loophole that many people exploited until the Aircare people got wise to it, realizing they weren't getting their greedy little hands on our money.

Now I don't know what the process is. Talk to Autoplan.

In any case, truck sold for $3K. Someone local got a really good deal. It so funny that after the truck was sold, I now get messages from people offering me more? Do people actually understand how Ebay works? LOL. Truck is gone!
