not to **** on your parade but noones going to buy a 44 for 2500 when a d60 can be had for around 1200.

i just sold a built up brand new ford d44 and 9 inch for 1800.....

60 shafts are a lot cheaper than d44 shafts. find a clean 60 that has 4.56 already . weld the carrier.

hi steer is about 350 for decent arms .depending what kind of draglink and tie rod you want , factor that price on.

hubs are about 200.

like i said 2500 for a d44 just aint right...

Yea I will take at least 20 for 300 bucks, i got cash plus cash for you if its true, I doubt it is since i called everywhere this side of the globe and a POS d60 goes for 1200.

PS Bolt that thing into yourtruck and wheel it, if you have chromo shafts i doubt 39.5s will break that axle, plus they have lifetime warranty anyway.

are you seriously comparing a welded dana 60 carrier to an ox locker?

....wow :shakehead:

if he posted a price of $2500 for the axle then that is what he is asking for it. he is not looking for your opinion on what is better and he doesn't sound like he needs a little cash for meth.

if the price is too high for you then offer what you think it's worth and move on, even a low ball offer is fine. he is obviously not going to drop the price to $1200 for you because you know how to weld spider gears to a carrier.
