I'm looking for a decent original 79-83 shortbox frame. I need a good one but I don't mind fixing the stupid hole behind the gas tank. I have a redone powdercoated longbox frame that I would be willing to make a deal with someone for. The frame I have is currently out of town but I have a few pics.

hey man sorry i have no frame for ya but you should look at www.budbuilt.com he makes really sweet frames. his web site is outdated. I bought the first frame he made and have zero complaints. Really nice work too. he makes em custom too. I had a 3"body lift, 2"drive line lift and 3" gastank lift put on mine. not to mension 2" receivers front and rear and heavy duty tow hooks on every corner. he does good work! just call him! if you're doin a budget build he told me that all the short box single cab frames have the same mounting locations X&Y from 1979-1995. he did however mension there may be up to 3/8" height differences (Z axis) but washers will fix that. good luck bro!

I have a great shape rear 1/2 .. it was "crunched" in the front , and is bent .. but it will make for a great splice from even the firewall back .

Consider it, but hate to see my frame chopped to ****. Its cherry, even by your standards...and iv'e seen your stuff. Just hoping someone needs the lb, if not i'll have to scour the earth for this facking frame. c'mon cough it up! mine has $600 in powdercoating alone! willing to trade straight up for a decent swb frame!
