Hey saw these advertised in a few magazines now, looked them up and am curious if anyones even heard of these. Or possibly tried them?
They say they last the same as standard platinum plugs at 50k miles and add about 5hp.
EDIT: just called lordco.. they never heard of them but would get back to me.

I found a place that sells them online in Canada:

Also anyone heard anything about this other type called E3?

Smells like snake oil. There have been many spark plugs that produce dual sparks, or an increased spark, and they never went very far.
I love the quote, "The Pulstar Plug has to be the best automotive invention since rubber tires." - J. Coon, 1995 Chevy Suburban"
Is that why I've never heard of these plugs? Is that why no vehicle mfg is using them?
I don't buy it.

there is no way spark plugs can give you more horsepower. factory plugs are the best thing to use.
you will gain 5 horsepower or more if the plugs you have now are shot but any new properly gapped plugs will gain you that same power.
it's like the 4 prong plugs are supposed to give you a better spark. electricity takes the path of least resistance so it will only spark on one electrode at a time. there is always going to be one electrode with a little less gap so this will be the one that will spark every time.

Hey, yeah I agree with you on most spark plugs, promises more than they deliver.
I just find it really interesting on these new plugs where instead of an average of 50W per plug they are 500W.
When you upgrade to MSD blaster coils, better contact cap and rotor, and wires with bigger wire for better 'flow'.. you are kinda doing the same thing are you not? Putting more power to the plugs to get a bigger and faster spark for a better and more complete combustion.
I dunno it 'sounds' good.. lol, so it must be too good to be true right?

Well, my dad still wanted a set for his cherokee so I ended up getting him a set.
Ill let everyone know if we notice a difference. I did some more digging to try to talk my dad out of it and all we saw was some positive review on something like 3% on dyno for horsepower and 5-10% on economy.
If anyone else wants to order some, a set of 8 was 191.10 from that canadian site I linked to above, with a 5% discount using the code "sparky".

Sounds bogus. Right up there with the Turbonator (http://www.turbonator.com).

Sounds to me like the circuit is a capacitor that charges up to a preset point then dumps the load to the end of the spark plug. Kinda like a condenser in an older car. This is something the manufacturers would build into the car if it actually worked.

You will never recover your $200 back. We tested those plugs when I was in school earlier this year. Doesn't make much of a difference. The old website had a link to a test done with 7 different plugs on a Neon SRT4. Each plug had 3 pulls on the dyno and they published the average power results. The Pulse plug had 4 lb/ft more torque than the other plugs but the NGK Iridium plug had the most h/p. The span between the highest and lowest ratings was no more than about 5 or 6 h/p. The power curves for the Pulse plug looked different when you looked at them as well because they moved the rpm points on the graph so that it made the power curve look better than the rest of the plugs.
On the average car it only takes about 20-30,000 volts to fire the a/f mixture. Adding a 60k coil and big wires and such doesn't do anything for performance unless you have a racing motor. Anything after 30k is wasted energy. It has been mentioned that if it was that great the car manufacturers would be using it on the production line.
