anyone know a good alignment shop in the south surrey or richmond area? I tried advance cause i know the guy there but he claims he cant attach the alignment machine to my rims so he cant do it.

Also ive been told by a couple people now that my truck tracks down the street on an angle. Any ideas what could cause this or if its just because my alignments out? I slid sideways into a tree in february but i had the frame repaired and the guy that did it tells me the frames fine.

Do you mean the truck is dog tracking? Your rear axle may be out of alignment- most shops do a 4 wheel alignment when you take it in so they can tell you if yer rear axle is crooked.

im not sure what dog tracking is but like my right rear corner of the truck is near the solid white on the side of the road and my front end is either dead center or a bit closer to the center line. My steering wheel is also out by 45 degrees.

dogs usually trott at a slight angle so they can easily turn their heads look back to see what is behind them. maybe your truck is just watching it's back.

abv automotive in whalley is pretty good. his prices are pretty good too. magnus used to be an alignment guy at a body shop so he knows about this kind of stuff a little better than your average mechanic with an alignment machine.

it does sound like the rear springs or mounts might be twisted.

hmm they managed to align my truck yesterday afternoon. Its loads better now and the steering wheel is finally straight. I wanna get rid of this IFS junk asap!!!

Does anyone know if the SAS kits made for the tacos up to 04 are usable on the 05+ trucks? I wanna run a front D60 and either a 14bolt FF rear or D60 rear. I believe it was allpro that sells a super expensive kit for sasin the newer tacos but you have to use their hybrid 60 which costs $5500 :laugh

i wouldn't do a solid axle swap on that truck unless you want to turn it into a serious beater.... which it may already be.
