I'm looking for some software to do things like:

If at go at y degrees from x, and someone else goes at z degrees from p, where will we meet?

If I am at x, and I go y metres at z degrees, where will I be?

Anyone knoe any programs that do these sorts of things?

Oziexplorer (http://www.oziexplorer.com) does it.

They call it projecting waypoints. If you're at a location (waypoint) and travel a given distance at a given angle, it shows your new location.

They do have a free trial (limited function) version available for download, but I don't know - you may have to purchase the full version for that functionality.

Its definitely worth a look. I actually purchased it after reading Lars' review a couple years ago.
