I have just received a note from Tread Lightly (www.treadlightly.org) confirming acceptance of the Four Wheel Drive Association of British Columbia as an Alliance Member.

Looking at the list of members as posted on their web site, it appears that we are the first international Alliance Member.

Good news. Thanks Steve.

I'm in full support of the Association joining TL - even if they're on the whining edge of eco-religion; it's a good thing for all of us to try to follow TL's principles. We might bend the rules a little, here and there when necessity requires it, but for the most part TL is a good idea.
