4WDABC presence outside the Lower Mainland

Hey, so now that I am on the Board of Directors for the 4WDABC, I'd like to ask the guys who are outside the Lower Mainland and maybe 4X4 Club members, what they think of the Association? Don't be shy, but do be constructive in any criticism. I am a new to it, and the new BoD knows that mistakes have been made in the past. We have gone through what I call the Phoenix phase, that is we have risen from the ashes and are now trying to learn to fly again. There is a ways to go, but I know we have the right people on the board, yes I can be humble.... to make this happen. What we want to get out is that we need the people in the other regions to be involved in their issues and to have a two way dialogue going so that we here in "headquarters" can get in front of the Ministry people or whoever, or to have that information get into the Backroader, to get the information out as a cohesive platform. As the Communications portfolio ended up in the VP department, that means I need to get the word out and to start the process. I would like to ask you guys to start the conversation with your fellow wheelers, you don't have to get involved with the Association if you don't want to, just know that you should be prepaired to put your money were your mouth is if you are that opinionated, lets see what if anything the 4WDABC can help organise or coordinate to make our collective voices heard in the right way.

Way to step up and grab the bull by the horns. It's not easy to commit so much time to help make and keep trails accesable and maintained.

I would like to see a few ads placed in a couple of the big newspapers to get out the message that the 4WDABC is out there and they want to kick ass.:redneck Seriously it would help get the message out there that you are serious about your agendas and in keeping your word. I know about the newsletter but a couple of ads won't hurt.

I think as well the association needs to partner up with the other recreational groups to get the acting government to really pay attention to the issues that are out there. There is power in number's.
