Working on my sisters 91 Accord. Said her hubby did the rear brakes but still squeaking.... guess he was afraid of rear dics!! Anyway thought I'd be a nice guy and check out the rest of the car. Anyone know why their would be a load of oil in the spark plug hole. They seemed tight but.............

If the plugs go into the center of the valve cover, replace the valve cover gasket and the spark plug gaskets. They usually come as a set.

no the f22a/f23a spark plugs are located at the back or front of the valve cover depending whether or not its a vtec. Anyways, i was having this problem with my friends d16a6, check the seals under the valve cover that go around the spark plugs. You can always use some liquid gasket (honda bond) and stick it all back together.

I used honda bond on his engine and it fixed the problem, stopped leaking oil

do it right, just get a new valve cover gasket set, comes with the grommets for between the head and the valve cover at the spark plug holes

we did that, it still leaked, hence why i used hondabond. I tore his engine down and did a high comp build.

shouldn't have leaked unless there was a tear in the gasket, or the sealing surface has a scratch from a screwdriver or something.
but hondabond or 1127 sealer will do the trick to get that extra help
