I need to use the power steering pump off a 83 Chevy ¾ to run a hydraulic.

I know that this has been done before but I don’t know how.

I also hear that there is a way to boost the PSI and flow of the pump. Any advice would be great

What planes you moving aroud? BEavers/180/185's. the pump off of a 3/4 ton with no mods is what we use now it works no prob lifting an otter or beaver.im sure the westtexas pump mod woulld speed it up a bit though. id throw some gusseting around where the rack meets the truck frame lots of stress there. iv done plenty of work on beaching gear over the years any q's gimme a shout.
