i need to get some opinions, i want an offroad plain black steel rim. 15 inch by 8. but i want some extreme offset. like 2 inches or so. does anyone know a rim that makes an offset this size. i already looked at procomp but the offset is only like bearly an inch.
thanks. nik

if all you want is a steel wheel then make your own you can buy the rim shell in the width you want and just weld in your own center section at whatever offset you would like, and drill ur bolt pattern in it. They won't look pretty unless your really good with steel work but they would give you exactly what you want.

yes but wheeling with 1.5" wheel spacers or bigger isn't real safe much more likely to start snapping studs

i wheel & DD with 1.5" spacers up front...no issues. buy quality spacers, and you wont have problems.

if i buy a 1.25" spacer will i need to buy anything else? like will they just slide on with the rim and all and fit fine?

i've never used wheel spacers but i'm pretty sure you will need longer studs, but i'm sure they toyota guys will know better then me

Why not just the black steelies from Nsor? They about 50 bucks (if that) each and i think you can get a 2" offset.

I think they're just called Rock Crawling Rims or Rock Crawlers. Bobbie told me she could get them for me in about 1-2days instead of the American Racing AR767's i have now. But wanting the pride factor i said no, order me what i wanted in the first place:redneck Crappy Tire sells the same Rock Crawlers. They're exactly the same as 767's but cost about 50.00 less because they dont have a red and blue stripe lol:cwm30:

Ok those would be fine, the 50 dollar ones, but whats the brand or where could i find them, because i dont even know what i would be ordering. so if you could find the name for me that would be great!
thanks.

I beleive NSOR wheels are Pro Comp Rock Crawler wheels. Great wheels. I have a set. I also think that 2 3/4 inch backspacing is the best you are going to do without custom ordering (I dont think pro comp does this)

Whats the difference if you bought a wheel with 2 3/4 backspacing from a 4" backspace? whats the backspace do?
