Both Jacks will make you look like :redneck when you have a slip of the jack handle.
Myself I prefer the original Jackall I have tried the other brand.

Ya, make sure you keep your head out of the way of the handle at all times in case you loose control. Any brand of Jack All is very dangerous and has to be treated with lots of respect (so you don't learn a lesson in physics the hard way).

I have used Jack All jacks allot so I know what they are like. I have used them for lifting small buildings to lifting other things.
The biggest thing with the Jack All is keep them slathered up with oil to keep the locks working properly.
I had a few close calls :redneck

I have used jackalls a lot as well. That still didn't prevent mine from giving me a good uppercut to the jaw.....
I was seeing stars with that one. I was just lucky it was a glancing blow. Had it been a solid hit I probably would have broken my jaw.....

KMS tools,
Their offshore farm jack is better quality than the Princess auto.
When I got mine, they were on sale at both KMS an PA.
Jack-all and Hi-lift are way better than the offshore's.
They are all very dangerous.
It's all about technique.
"given'r" redneck style on the handle will result in injuries for sure, and yes, like this too :redneck
just like what he said above.

I got my hi-lift from PA and am happy with it. I agree, I'd skip the sketchy offshore ones.

I called around yesterday and the best price I could find on a 48" HI-Lift was at NSOR. In my callings I was quoted anywhere from 50 for a offshore to 120 for a Hi-Lift.

Definatly princess auto for the cheapest name brand "hi-lift" around. They even sell the chain tire cradles there
