I'm curious if anyone could give me some information on how to go about getting a donor rig. I'm exploring the idea of a 3.4 swap (mildly) for my Toyota pick up down the road and I'd like to get a full donor rig to make things easier (as opposed to buying an engine/ecu and then buying a bunch of parts). Can you buy them off of ICBC before a wrecker gets them, or do you know of any more reliable or less expensive wreckers out there that specialize in Yota's?

Thanks.

you need a wrecker's or a rebuilder's license to buy from the icbc auctions.

interior auto wrecking in vernon buys almost every landcruiser from icbc and he has alot of other toyotas. i've got some good deals on ford and jeep parts from them.

i also know of a wrecker in kamloops that will be willing to buy a wreck for you if you give him some money first. i don't know him very well but he was the one that sugested he would do that for me.
